Drenched in the early waters of infatuation and crushing, LoveLeo’s “HEAD OVER HEELS” is a funky declaration that properly welcomes his long-awaited debut EP, LOOK AT THIS MESS I’VE MADE, out now via Godmode/Republic Records.
LoveLeo celebrates with an accompanying visual, shot, directed, and produced by the artist, and enters a self-starring world.
The video’s ludicrous imagery isolates the track’s feelings of being completely enamored by another. “HEAD OVER HEELS” melts into its insatiable groove and whimsical production, rolling into the realms of nu-disco.
LoveLeo’s delectable vocals, to say the least, consume the track’s hook while the artist’s face royally haunts the space. A slew of “ooohs” elevate LoveLeo’s questioning and blithely dances towards the rest of the EP.
On LOOK AT THIS MESS I’VE MADE, LoveLeo says, “The goal with this project was to not take anything too seriously. Put your headphones on, drink some water, and have a beautiful day.”
