With an infectious new single combining dance and flamenco, emerging disco maestros Paco Versailles debut “Shangri-La.” A dazzling track that features an energetic flamenco guitar and Daft Punk influence, Paco Versailles use the song to allude to a distant paradise. In search of their own “Shangri-La,” the electronic duo creates this summer ready joint rinsed in dance production and a catchy bassline. 

Paco Versailles brings a refreshing new direction on the scene, as the duo shares Spanish artist Paco de Lucia holds a profound impact on shaping their sound. As guitarist Vahagni shares, “I grew up with Paco’s music and flamenco in the house at all times. I can’t remember a time when his picture was not on one of the walls in our house. I naturally became just as obsessed and Paco was now my god of guitar, and flamenco was the direction.” Moreover, the second half of Paco Versailles, Ryan Merchant of Capital Cities sees their latest single as an escape from reality; a celebratory symphony of sound that brings them closer to “Shangri-La in these musical moments.
