The ninth annual Echo Park Rising music, art and local business festival returns Thursday, August 15th through Sunday, August 18th, 2019. Presented by Echo Park Chamber of Commerce and curated by Spaceland Presents, the free, four-day event will once again take over Echo Park, averaging nearly 600 acts throughout 60 venues, shops, and bars.
For this year, Friday and Saturday’s outdoor ‘Liberty Stage’ (at the intersection of Liberty and Reservoir) will return with a craft beer garden and vendors. For the first time in Echo Park Rising history the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks and City Council District 13 Council Member Mitch O’Farrell are co-presenting family programing the Saturday of Echo Park Rising at the Echo Park Lake.

This outdoor program includes performances by the Bob Baker Marionette Theater, local youth-fronted bands and closes with a night time movie screening as a part of CD13’s Echo Park Film Series and is powered by Bose Professional.
Another new feature this year will be the added donation page as an alternative source of funding to VIP Ticketing. Patrons can donate as little as $1 per month as a friendly act of support of Echo Park Rising and its volunteers. Or for only $5 per month, Patrons can become an Echo Park Rising “Friend with Benefits” and enjoy a hosted, Patron Only Event on the opening night of the festival.
Artists, musicians, comedians and performers may apply with the form below, as well as venues, vendors, and volunteers.
