Acting as the fifth festival at Queen Mary, Goldenvoice announces the return of Smokin’ Grooves for its second installment in Long Beach, Saturday, June 15th. With a focal point on R&B and hip hop, the one day event sprinkles in bits of the past to a slew of newer acts worth the watch. Usher and Erykah Badu top the event, followed by Daniel Caesar, Kali Uchis, Common and T-Pain to a broader stream, and notables to definitely not miss; Ari Lennox, Phony Ppl, Raveena, and Daydream Masi.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, May 4 at 12:00 PM PST. Ticket prices start at $125 for general admission and $250 for VIP. There is no parking on site and all festival parking will be off site but serviced for free through the festival’s shuttle system.
