Chasing ‘Moonstones’ with Golden Vessel

Opening with fluttering strings and a hazy soundscape Golden Vessel returns with the visceral “Moonstone”, delivering his strongest performance yet as a vocalist.

Opening with fluttering strings and a hazy soundscape Golden Vessel returns with the visceral “Moonstone”, delivering his strongest performance yet as a vocalist. Based on a historical NASA investigation that involves the mystery of missing moonstones, the artist draws parallels to this voyage within our daily lives. As the lyrics focus on missed opportunities and connections, the artist found the desire to express this loss.

Golden Vessel shares, “I started telling friends about the stolen moonstones and then morphed it into a metaphor for a conversation we were having”. With a visual that involves a fake moon landing, vintage astronaut fits, and carefully curated clips, “Moonstone”, continues to paint a vibrant and poignant aesthetic for Golden Vessel. With his intuitive sense for creating intimate textures and presenting accessible stories, the single continues to build upon the young artist’s visionary project.

The recent single follows the stunning release of “BIGBRIGHT” featuring personal favorite DUCKWRTH and vocalists Elkkle and E^ST. As “Moonstone” continues to fuel Golden Vessel’s DIY approach, we look forward to his debut performance in the states in 2019. Check out his tour dates with BAYNK below!
