The Women’s International Music Network (WiMN) is hosting its 7th annual She Rocks Awards, during the NAMM Show, January 25, 2019, at the House of Blues Anaheim.
NAMM doesn’t only bring out the newest gear or workshops for all in the music industry, but also premier events and celebrations. For its seventh year during the NAMM Show, The Women’s International Music Network (WiMN) is hosting its annual She Rocks Awards. The posh event will recognize women who stand out as role models in the music industry, January 25, 2019, at the House of Blues Anaheim. The event’s past line-up has included Melissa Etheridge, Pat Benatar, The B-52s, Colbie Caillat, Sheila E, Chaka Khan, Ronnie Spector, Orianthi, Shirley Manson, The Bangles, and more, including those behind the scenes in the industry.
The She Rocks Awards doesn’t require a NAMM badge for entrance and is open to the public. This year’s award recipients include: GRAMMY Award winners, Macy Gray and Lisa Loeb in addition to musician Nita Strauss and songwriter Erika Ender, joining music industry vets Dana Dufine, Dale Krevens, Lynette Sage, Samantha Pink and Terri Winston among others to be announced.

As a new feature, a lifetime achievement award will be introduced to the event, honoring Janis Joplin as the first recipient for the category. To celebrate the musician’s career, a musical tribute is set for the night featuring guitarist Orianthi, singer Vanessa Amorosi and Emily Armstrong of Dead Sara.
The event will be kicked off by an opening performance by London/Belfast-based alternative rock duo, REWS, consisting of songstress Shauna Tohill and vocalising beat-rocker Collette Williams.
Returning to host the event is Christine Devine (16-time Emmy-winning FOX 11 news anchor) who will be joined by co-host, Lyndsey Parker (music editor at Yahoo Entertainment and co-host of the weekly SiriusXM show Volume West).
Additional performers will be announced soon. Tickets may be purchased here.
