New Noise [Indie and Dream-Pop]: Hospital, Bad Suns, Vansire, LOVEYOU

HospitalLouder“- Hailing from Moscow, Indie-pop rockers Hospital -Egor Berdnikov (vocals/guitar), Aleksey Shorin (bass), Andrei Tsvetkov (guitar),  and Vladimir Balovnev (drums)- fuse carefree dance melodies from the likes of The Drums, to pure indie delight on their latest track “Louder.” The rhythm section takes full control of the track, praising the funk-electro riffs emitted, paired sweetly against a bright horn. Hospital’s power-pop guitar chords soften the eagerness of spasmodically dancing to happy-go-lucking vibes.

Bad SunsDisappear Here” – Los Angeles locals, Bad Suns, return with their indie-rock and pop track “Disappear Here,” and once again bless their fans with a wave of alternative sounds. Christo Bowman, Miles Morris, Gavin Bennett, and Ray Libby stick to traditional, bright, and upbeat melodies that are washed over a strong core, brought to life by drums and vocals. The track’s central theme is extremely catchy, and makes for a memorable track.

Their highly anticipated sophomore album, Disappear Here, set to be released September 16th.

Vansire “Postal Codes” – Prepare to fall in love with Vansire, duo from Minnesota, and their sweet dream-pop track, “Postal Codes,” off the new LP, Reflections and Reveries out July 18th. Something from a beautiful dream that you never want to wake from, Vansire’s bright and ethereal melodies cascade into a surf riff that sums up a beautiful summer night along the coast. Led by lo-fi vocals that melt perfectly on the track, “Postal Codes” then balances the quirky sensation with a strong foundation and a light psychedelic allure. Definitely an artist to watch out for this year.

LOVEYOUI Want To (Make You Feel Happiness)” – LA Dream-Pop band, LOVEYOU, step into the Los Angeles music scene with their debut album Sparkle & Crush, and hook listeners with their carefree riffs, more specifically with their single, “I Want To (Make You Feel Happiness).” Fronted by 21 year-old Andrew Stogel, formerly of Dreamers Dose, LOVEYOU, goes through personal revelations and delicate sounds to create a hazy atmosphere. The track’s sense of “wanting” lingers towards the end, and is brought to life with through the catchy hook.
