New Noise: Su Na, TOBi, Fleurie, Xavier White

Su Na “Complexion” Feat. Dizzy Fae- Beautiful. The only word to truly describe this track. From the moment the track begins, there is something utterly organic, that it reaches out to anyone regardless of their mindset. Hailing from Minneapolis, 25 yr old producer/artist, Alec Ness, or as he is better known under the moniker of su na, creates a production of bliss that is addictive, and perfect for the angelic vocals of Dizzy Fae. Hard to believe this is Su Na’s first single from his EP Surface due tomorrow, June 3rd.

TOBiDeeper” Prod. Nate Smith-  Canadian artist TOBi is blowing our minds with his seductive and fresh track “Deeper.” Horns, and a sensual production cross the musical line of a tropical slow-jam R&B, with a modern beat- a true art of creativity when fusing sounds. “Can I Splash?” is casually uttered over the smooth beat, reassuring how “deep” one can go. Despite it’s raw, and blunt message, the presentation and craft of the message is done so with extreme taste. TOBi’s vocals are impossible to not fall in love with, from hook to rap, and is definitely an artist to keep an eye out this year.

Fleurie “Breathe“-  Nashville songstress, Fleurie comes with her electronic and indie based track, “Breathe” that is sensitive and climatic. Beginning with a soft approach, guided by scared vocals, and trusting keys, the track begins its climatic appeal and builds with each implementation of instrument. The drums truly take over the track towards the end and wraps up the message with an echo of Fleurie’s voice. Fleurie’s track not only incorporates sensitivity, but small traces of haste that are balanced within the production.

Xavier White “New York Times“- Originally from Albany, NY, Xavier White welcomes us with a “west coast love” R&B single. Shots of scenic Los Angeles, from the Malibu shore, to Beverly Hills, and of course the sunshine on the golden coast, sets up White for his smooth, “west coast” love tribute, still holding onto his East Coast roots. The track is still fused with pop, regardless of its hip-hop genre and is a jam for summer love this year.  New EP coming soon, Cancer VS Gemini out June 7th.
