Girl Underground Music would like to share indie artist, Lucy & La Mer, and their cover of “Tainted Love” in association with More Than No, an LA based non-profit organization that aims to raise awareness, and open discussion about rape, sexual assault, prevention, and consent. The video highlights Lucy’s true musical style, and is a unique approach of the Soft Cell track, originally released in the 80s. The folk-jazz track is as beautiful as the message within the video, which features the Cabaret Con-Sensual, a “body-positive” burlesque troupe.
