After the band’s hiatus, the indie-rockers from Washington made a welcoming return back into the music scene with their new album, No Cities to Love (2015). The video gets right to the point in the bedroom of awkward Tina Belcher, as she proceeds to play the track, the band appears. Various scenes show Tina, Louise, and Gene rocking out in abstract colored themes engulfing the kids’ with Sleater-Kinney. The band’s interpretation through the animators’ eyes is spot on, noting facial expressions, key drum rolls, and guitar shredding moments. Always a dream to have one of your favorite bands throw a party in your room, especially for the ever going day dreamer like Tina.
